Venatus 2023 Wrapped!
As 2023 draws to a close, we would like to take a moment to reflect on a year marked by extraordinary achievements and significant growth at Venatus.
This year, our offices across the globe have seen significant developments across their many departments — with 47 new joiners across the UK, USA, Philippines, Korea, and beyond. It’s been hard work, but we still made it onto Newsweek’s UK 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2023 for the second year running... and it’s true, we love it here!
In the Business Development team, this has resulted in some incredible stuff. The acquisition of AdInPlay was a resounding success, our partnership with EA grew massively, and all this was followed by exciting new partnerships with major players in the industry like Miniclip, Scopely, and Bidstack.
Onto Sales and our team continues to broaden its horizons and sharpen its knack for excellent campaign work. This year has seen landmark projects including the award-winning Visa x Roblox campaign, and over 900 direct sales campaigns for huge clients including Mattel, LEGO, and Pizza Hut. We’ve made leaps and bounds into the German market, grown our presence in Korea and the Philippines, and taken our first steps into Canadian territory — cementing our status as an AdTech leader on a global scale.
Marketing has been another huge focus this year. We’ve kept our achievements and insights quiet for too long, so we’ve stepped into the spotlight as speakers and sponsors at many events throughout 2023: IAB’s Gaming Upfronts, AdWanted UK’s The Future of Gaming, IAB On the Hill, G-STAR, and we’re only just getting started. We also published our biggest research project ever in collaboration with GWI, uncovering exclusive insights into gaming audiences around the world — something we’re really proud of.
Finally, we feel honored to have been awarded several esteemed certifications from industry bodies: TAG Brand Safety Certified Seal, IAB Gold Standard, and Google Certified Publishing Partner. We’ve never been more confident in our commitment to providing advertisers and publishers with the very best in gaming and AdTech excellence.
